Mixo is an AI-powered, no-code website builder: you describe your business in a sentence, and it generates a complete website — page structure, copy, images and a contact form — which you refine in a visual editor and publish with hosting, SSL and a subdomain included. Unlike traditional builders such as Wix or Squarespace, where you assemble a site from a blank canvas or template, Mixo starts from a finished draft so your job is editing, not building. Its second focus is lead capture: contact forms, enquiry tracking and contact export are built in. Mixo is operated by Australian company FuzzyLogic Labs Pty Ltd and launched in 2022; the company says more than 3 million websites have been created on the platform as of 2026-09-29 (source: Mixo homepage).

Mixo homepage: generate a website from a one-sentence description

The screenshot above shows the Mixo homepage (captured 2026-09-29). The centerpiece is the generator: describe the business (the demo uses "Landscaping business in Austin") and Mixo builds the site in front of you. The page also shows a carousel of real customer sites and the company's headline figures — 3M+ websites created, 300+ industries served, and content generation in 40+ languages.

Background

Mixo was founded by Adam Arbolino, whose LinkedIn profile lists him as Mixo's founder since August 2022; before that he was co-founder and CTO of the design crowdsourcing marketplace DesignCrowd (2009–2017) (sources: LinkedIn, Crunchbase, DesignCrowd blog). Mixo's operator, FuzzyLogic Labs Pty Ltd, is a Sydney-based digital agency and startup studio Arbolino is involved in, and the terms of service are governed by the laws of Sydney, NSW (source: Terms of Service).

The product's positioning has shifted once. At launch in 2022 it pitched "generate a landing page with AI to validate your startup idea and collect subscribers" (sources: Trustpilot company profile, SaaSworthy listing); the current homepage instead targets small businesses that need a full website — home services, professional services and local businesses that trade work for enquiries (source: Features). The constant across both phases is lead capture: form submissions, enquiry management and contact export remain core built-in features.

Core capabilities

The screenshot above is the AI Website Builder feature page, with official mockups of generated results and the editing interface on the right. Mixo's capabilities fall into four groups:

  • AI generation and editing: a complete site (pages, sections, copy, images) is generated from a short business description, then edited visually — click to change text, swap images, adjust colors, fonts and section order, or ask the AI to rewrite headlines and paragraphs. The company claims generation takes about 30 seconds, and every site is responsive by default (sources: AI Website Builder, Pricing).
  • Lead capture and forms: every site includes contact forms, with submissions flowing into a built-in enquiry inbox; contacts can be exported. Forms support AI-generated fields, GDPR-compliance settings and variants such as event registration (source: Help center, Forms section).
  • Content sections and AI writing: sites can add Blog, Past Projects, Guides or Portfolio sections, with an AI article generator that takes a topic and notes; Business and Premium plans include a bulk generator that drafts 5 articles at once, while the free plan has a publish limit (source: Help center, Content & Articles section).
  • SEO and AI discoverability: per-page SEO titles and descriptions are editable; more unusually, every published site automatically gets llms.txt and llms-full.txt files following the llmstxt.org standard, giving AI assistants such as ChatGPT and Perplexity a structured summary and full text of the site, regenerated on every publish (source: AI Discoverability).

Beyond that, sites support YouTube/Vimeo embeds, galleries and a library of over a million CC0 stock photos; native integrations cover Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Facebook Pixel and Google AdSense (enter an ID, no code), with custom script injection for anything else; taking payment works through forms combined with third-party payment tools (sources: Integrations, Help center).

Plans and pricing

The screenshot above shows the pricing page (captured 2026-09-29, source: Pricing). Plans are billed per website, in three tiers:

  • Free ($0, forever): Mixo-branded subdomain (yourbusiness.mixo.site), one-page website, contact form; the site displays a "Made with Mixo" badge. No credit card required, and the company says free sites stay online even if you never upgrade.
  • Business Site ($20/month, 20% off annually): free custom domain for the first year (valued at $30), Mixo branding removed, multi-page website, Google and AI-search optimization, enquiry management, hosting and SSL; 30-day money-back guarantee.
  • Premium Site ($40/month, 20% off annually): everything in Business, plus deeper site analytics, more lead-capture tools, precise brand matching, team members and tool integrations; 30-day money-back guarantee.

Refund fine print: the 30-day refund applies only to a first website-plan purchase, must be requested through support, and can take up to 14 business days to process (source: Terms of Service). Agencies or high-volume customers can ask about bespoke plans (source: Features).

Copyright and content policy

Several clauses in Mixo's terms are worth knowing before you build (source: Terms of Service):

  • Your content stays yours: you keep the intellectual property in content you upload, but you grant Mixo a non-exclusive, worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free, sub-licensable license to operate the service.
  • AI output is "Placeholder Content": the terms require you to replace AI-generated copy, reviews, names and photos with authentic content before publishing or doing business, and warn that presenting fabricated reviews as real may breach rules from authorities such as the FTC.
  • Free-plan branding: free sites must keep the "Made with Mixo" badge and platform references inside llms.txt; trying to remove them can get the account suspended. Upgrading and republishing removes them.
  • Social proof clause: Mixo may display your domain, site name or company name in its marketing (customer walls, showcases); you can opt out via support.
  • Prohibited content: pornography, hate, harassment, infringement, spam and illegal content are all banned (Section 4C).
  • Stock imagery: the company says its stock photos are released under CC0 (sources include Pexels, Pixabay and FreePik).

On privacy, Mixo states that user data is processed and stored in Australia; registration collects details such as name and email, and the service is not directed at children under 13 (source: Privacy Policy).

Who it's for

  • Sole traders and small business owners (contractors, cleaners, lawyers, consultants, coaches) who need a brochure site that captures enquiries, without hiring anyone or learning web tech;
  • Founders validating an idea with an AI-generated landing page before investing in development, collecting subscribers and early enquiries;
  • Anyone needing landing pages in multiple languages without translating and laying out pages themselves (content generation supports 40+ languages);
  • Small businesses that want to win local search traffic with a blog and make their site legible to AI search tools.

Limitations

  • English-only interface (checked 2026-09-29 across the site and editor entry points — no UI language options). Generated site content supports 40+ languages, but operating the dashboard itself requires basic English literacy.
  • Limited design freedom: you start from an AI-generated site and edit content, colors and sections; there is no free-form canvas like Webflow or Framer, and no public template gallery to browse.
  • Placeholder content must be replaced by hand: the terms are explicit that generation is only a starting point. Publishing fictional reviews, names or data carries compliance risk and is easy for visitors to spot, so real time savings depend on how standardized your business is.
  • No real e-commerce: payments rely on forms plus third-party embeds; there is no product catalog, cart or order management.
  • Tight platform coupling: plans are per site, so multiple sites mean multiple subscriptions, and the help center documents no official full-site export or migration path, making moving away costly.
  • Self-reported scale: the 3M+ sites, 750k+ businesses and 4.8/5 Trustpilot figures all come from Mixo's own pages (as of 2026-09-29), with no independent audit.

Alternatives

Comparable AI-first builders include Wix (AI builder plus a full ecosystem), Squarespace Blueprint, Durable (also one-sentence sites for small businesses) and Framer AI (more design-oriented). Mixo maintains its own comparison pages against Wix, Squarespace and WordPress — vendor-authored, so read with care. Its differentiator is that generated sites ship with forms, enquiry management and llms.txt by default, making it closer to a "brochure-page generator that captures leads" than a general-purpose website platform.
